Globalization - second task.

1.
Having read the previous texts. What do you think can be the effects of
globalization in Chile? Mention 2.
a. An advantage may mean the
foreign investments that Chile has. However, the protectionism generated by his
government has not been enough to protect local producers and entrepreneurs.
b. A globalization can also
generate loss of national identity, and perhaps excessive foreign consumerism.
2.
Do you think globalization is a reversible process? Yes, No? Justify your
answer.
I don’t believe that it is
possible to reverse a process as complex and historical as globalization is,
and that in a strict sense of cooperation and diplomacy is necessary. But if I
believe that current governments can generate more accurate and effective
protectionism measures in favor of their nations to reduce the negative impacts
that globalization can generate, make an economy and solid political alliances,
it should not mean the loss of identity or culture, or even lose the national
economic strength. Governments have an obligation to create smart strategies to
make a specific role within the world and strengthen their nation with
international cooperation, not the other way around.
THANKS FOR YOUR COMENTS. :)
I think that globalization is not reversible and it is better that way. Imagine a world without the technology we have today, I wasn't commenting on you here on your blog, everything would be different and I don't think it would be better
